Memories Ave. Banquet Hall ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This page explains, in plain language, what personal information our website collects, why we collect it, how we handle it, and the choices and rights you have — including your rights under California law. This policy covers our website only, at memoriesavenue.com.
The information we collect
We only collect personal information that you choose to give us. Right now, the one place our site collects information is the inquiry form. If you fill it out, we receive:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address
- The type of event you're planning
- Your event date
- Your estimated guest count
- Any message you choose to write to us
We do not collect this information unless you voluntarily submit the form. We don't require you to create an account, and there is no login or payment area on this site.
Cookies & analytics
This website does not currently use Google Analytics, a Meta (Facebook) Pixel, or any other analytics or advertising tracking tool. We are not collecting browsing data about you beyond what your browser or hosting provider logs automatically as part of normal web traffic. If that changes, we'll update this section to explain exactly what's being used and why.
Why we collect it
We use the information from the inquiry form for one purpose: to respond to your venue inquiry — checking availability, answering your questions, and following up about your celebration by phone, text or email. We do not use it to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell it or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising (see "Do Not Sell or Share" below).
How we store your information
When you submit the inquiry form, your message is delivered to our email inbox (info@memoriesavenue.com) through a form-processing service called Web3Forms. Your submission passes through their servers on the way to us. We do not save your information to a database on this website, and we do not use it to create an account or a profile for you.
Your message then lives in our email inbox for as long as we need it to plan your event and keep a reasonable business record afterward, and no longer than necessary for that purpose. We take reasonable care to keep our email account secure, but no method of electronic storage is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
Who we may disclose it to
We don't sell your information to anyone. We may share it, only as needed to run our business, with:
- Email and productivity providers — the service that delivers our business email, so we can receive and reply to your inquiry.
- A form-processing provider — once connected (see above), the service that routes your form submission to us.
- Legal or safety reasons — if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our business, our guests or the public.
We do not name additional vendors here because we don't use any beyond what's described above. We will update this list before adding new service providers who would receive your personal information.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Memories Ave. Banquet Hall does not sell your personal information, and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under California law. We don't need to offer a "Do Not Sell or Share" opt-out link because we simply don't do either of those things.
Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), gives you these rights over the personal information we hold about you:
- Right to know — what personal information we've collected, used, and disclosed about you.
- Right to delete — ask us to delete personal information we've collected from you.
- Right to correct — ask us to fix inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing — not applicable here since we don't sell or share, but it remains your right.
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information — we don't collect sensitive personal information (like government ID numbers, precise geolocation, or health data) through this site, so there is nothing to limit, but the right still applies to you.
- Right to non-discrimination — we will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.
How to exercise your rights
Email us at info@memoriesavenue.com with the subject line "Privacy Request" and let us know what you'd like (to know, delete, or correct your information). We may ask for enough detail to verify it's really you before we act on the request. We will respond within 45 days, as California law requires — if we need more time for a complex request, we're allowed one 45-day extension, and we'll let you know if that happens.
Children's privacy
This website is meant for adults planning events, not children. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 has submitted information to us, we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, when we add new features like online payments, analytics, or a hosted form backend. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date above, so please check back occasionally.
